North Bend is a city located on the fringes of the Seattle metropolitan region in King County, Washington, United States. At the 2010 census, the population was 5,731; in 2018, it was predicted to be 7,136. North Bend is located near King County’s geographic center at 47°29′38′′N 121°47′10′′W. (47.493831, -121.786247). The city has a total area of 4.31 square miles (11.16 km2), of which 4.27 square miles (11.06 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) is water, according to the United States Census Bureau.
North Bend is located in the Cascade Range’s foothills, approximately 30 miles (48 kilometers) east of Seattle in the upper basin of the Snoqualmie River. To the northwest, the city is bounded by Snoqualmie. Both settlements are located near the Mountains to Sound Greenway’s core. Mount Si, the town’s most noteworthy geological feature, towers over it. Rattlesnake Ridge is located to the south. Mount Si, at 4,167 feet (1,270 meters), towering above the village, which is just about 440 feet high (130 m). A four-mile (6-kilometer) trail zigzags up to the summit, climbing 3,500 feet vertically (1,100 m).
